And for you ElectronicaMaster95... The whole review you complain that this is not real techno. Why should it matter? What should matter is if it's good music or no. Try not to focus at the music like it was inside some genre. Just to listen and think about what you like and what you don't. And thanks for the review.

I'm finding it really hard to get into this - I love burial, aphex, venetian snares, etc. but i actually agree a bit with the reviewer so far. it's bleepy rhythms that don't seem to do much. maybe i just need to give it some more listens?

yup, still a perfect description of this album's appeal

none of those three artists are remotely close to this album sonically, maybe some of Venetian Snares.
I loved this album right away, but most people struggle with it for a while before they inevitably have that "moment" with it. It's cold, sterile, and feels unfamiliar, but in some ways it is the perfect piece of electronic music for those same reasons. Keep trying, but if you don't like it, different strokes etc.

listen to the garbage and anvil vapre EP's first and then move onto this, this is quite a different beast than amber
