I know what he meant. I dont think you know what I mean. I was saying that the difference between Hard Fi and Arctic Monkeys is much smaller than the difference between Creed and Pearl Jam. This Message Edited On 03.07.06

I enjoyed this album, thoroughly. I never really have taken a liking to indie music, but for some reason, I liked this a lot. Stellar review as well, Iai.

As some other people have mentioned, this album seems monotonous at first until you listen to it - it really, really grows on you, especially the beginning sequence of tracks.

This album is good and the arctic monkeys have come up with some catchy tunes. but their not a revolution in music. There is too much hype surrounding this band!

This really is worth it, despite all the hype. As many people have said, a great album.

Did anyone here see them on SNL last night? Good opportunity to introduce them to the American audience, though it didn't seem to go over too well based on some conversations we had last night on mx.

Pretty good album. I don't see why it's getting so much hype and selling so many copies. It's good and alll, but nothing legendary. Certainly not on the same level as Definitely Maybe.

This is a decent album, but nothing amazing. The music is definitely nice to listen to, but I can't recall one song from the album. Nothing really stands out yet there are no weak tracks.

The first one (at least the first I heard) captured my attenion I hope the second ones just as good.
BTW I followed your steps, but I still can't figure out how to get a custom avatar. Can anyone help me?

I heard this crap on the radio and decided to investigate more considering their high rank on the front page. I am incredibly disappointed. Whenever they have something cool going they throw in something token and indie. Also, their tone sucks often.

Yo have to admit tho' the lyrics are very good, even if they are very english.

Dfelon jus wait til you see the music video for the Sun goes Down - its awful! Then u will see how token and amateurish they are! they produce good student anthems but if you over 25 or quite mature for your age these guys arent for you!

Mr. Amsterdam, the lyrics suck. I just read up on them. Read this: http://www.lyricsmania.com/lyrics/arctic_monkeys_lyrics_4351/whatever_people_say_i_am,_that's_what_i'm_not_lyrics_17367/fake_tales_of_san_francisco_lyrics_200899.html . That's painfully poor.
