Good review, pos'd.

One thing though "British quartet rising from the quiet town of Cornwall, England" , they're from the town Falmouth in the County of Cornwall. Not trying to sound like a dick I'm just from there haha

I'd go as far as saying AOTY for now.

Absolutely amazing, so much beauty on this album. Probably my album of the year so far, this or 'Bloom'. Kerouac was great, but they are just angry and heavy imo, this has much more soul.

i think kerouac had more emotion in their music than you give them credit for, but i agree that this album has a different feel. the comparisons are kind of unfair because they're obviously going for a more melodic, less chaotic sound than kerouac.

Yeah this is pretty awesome. Nowhere near AOTY for me, but still.

i'm not really saying they're going for the same sound but both are melodic hardcore with a little more aggressive tendencies than most of their contemporaries. i feel like veils sort of split the difference between screamo and hardcore and ended up not doing enough of either.

yeah i get what you're saying, they're in that same sort of limbo between hardcore and screamo that

touche amore inhabits. veils is still pretty young though and this is their first ep. so they've got a

lot of time to figure out exactly which direction they want to take the band.

Name is correct, they had to change it for legal reasons.
