Why do the pieces with guest vocalists need to be bar raising, spectacular songs. Sometimes a artists simply want to befriend and work with different artists, and not necessarily try and break barriers. Yes it would have been nice if they all said "lets make some obscenely crazy songs outside of our element" but that's simply not going to always be the case, as seen here.

Listening to this in retrospect I actually kind of like the guest vocalists. The tracks aren't excessively un-technical or anything and some are just well composed. Not much of a weak point tbh.
