uugh. this is a disappointing first listen. i love their "best of" collection, but this is just too much. constant upbeat electronic glitteriness. no pensive moments. i know a lot of bands try to stray away from post-rock as a label, but these guys definitely need to become more post-rock, with longer stretches of ambience and crescendos. that or they should just get a singer and become another delphic.

I agree, Minty, except I think the lack of inclusion of guitars really takes away from their sound. On Atlas they used guitars perfectly and everything worked so well together. On this they have all the glittery pianos and keys and it sounds empty because they barely used guitars at all on this record which, imo, were the best part of their sound because they accented they keys so well.
