I thought "The Last Sucker" was the last Ministry release.

Al should have stopped after Animositisomina, Houses of the Mole was alright, but these last 3 albums have just been an embarrassment to what Ministry used to be. The lyrics on here are just horrible, this was definitely made to milk that metal head fan base hes been attracting since the mid 2000's. It's sad the both Al and Paul have put out really bad-average material since they parted ways.....

Rio Grande Blood and The Last Sucker have some great highlights (LiesLiesLies, Senor Peligro, Rio Grande Blood or Let's Go, Die In A Crash, Dick Song), but Relapse is sub par.

After reading all the bad reviews here I listened Relapse. And I was pretty amazed of how good the record is. Ok, there is no industrial sound, just some good noise eventually. So What? The robotic fellow is amazingly programed and i almost could not believe that Mike Scaccia (RIP) can play those fucking riffs! Could give one arm to see that guy playing this record live. It´s like Gary Holt raping Slipknot's guys in line with Roger Miret laughing behind. Mike breathed thrash and the record is the fusion of him and Al. The lyrics are clever, the production is (surprisingly) super clear. The MOD cover is sick. That´s hard and well done stuff and this is fucking difficult to beat. Al knows it all.

Agreed, it's not that bad, in fact it's ok with some great riffs. Tommy Victor + Ministry = win. United Forces is an S.O.D. cover though

This album makes me think of a Spinal Tap quote: "This tasteless cover is a good indication of the lack of musical invention within"

I knew this guy that dated my aunt and said that this is his favorite album by Ministry because it reminds him of Twitch. Twitch was two steps above this crap and honestly I hate Al Jorgestein because he introduced Layne Staley of Alice In Chains to use a syringe to shoot up heroin.
