I've never taken the time to listen to it in full. Couple minutes of each songs only (amply enough

thanks), except for The Dividing Line which is the outstanding song by a mile in there and one of the

rares that deserve the Genesis' label. I'm pretty sure the product would have been way better with

Kevin Gilbert as frontman but R.I.P. yes.

Correction; Genesis really went downhill after Hackett departed

I don't they they would have had another masterpiece after The Lamb Lies Down. I also really like what I've heard from Trick and W&W so I have to agree.

Ace review, Nag, mate. I couldnt put your analysis better than you did about Battle of Epping Forest. However, for me the song is up there among their greatest ever. Plus, song is also a lot of fun to sing along to. I think Gabriel would agree =]

Aye. Nothing beats Nursery Cryme through The Lamb though.

Excellent review as expected. pos'd.

Agreed. Both A Trick of the Tail and the post-Gabriel live album Seconds Out are pretty much essential.

Collins really gives it his all on Seconds Out, which is excellent, but Gabriel could never be matched. W&W is great too.

Indeed. I need to listen to W&W again, what I remeber of it is great but definitely not as good as A Trick of the Tail if I remember rightly.

Yeah, A Trick of the Tail is better. I agree with Ire, even if Gabriel had stayed with them I doubt they could have made greater albums than the golden four.
