Forgot about Fly on the Wall. It's buried in this album but it's really good.

The rap rock songs here are so awkward lol. Wish the whole record was just songs like the title track and 'Fly on the Wall'. I really enjoy the (more) acoustic tracks too.

never listened to these dudes. should i take the plunge?
|

lmao all I know about them is I see their CDs come through the store I work at all the time and they look like the most token we are a tough guy christian band, band, you could possibly imagine. Never had less desire to check something out. My guess would be it sounds like 3 Doors Down but Jesusy-er.
It's just funny how much of a look these fellas have that I can tell if a band is Christian Rock before I know anything else about them from their promo shots usually.

The name Thousand Foot Krutch came from the belief that God is a crutch you can lean on, even if your problems pile a thousand feet high.

Listening to the "Reignited" versions of the songs reminds me how much I love this album as a guilty pleasure. It's not anything spectacular, but I can head bop along to We Are, War of Change, or Courtesy Call.
PS, anyone else remember when the Nightcore trend got a hold of Courtesy Call back in the 2010s?
