What you find to be experimental is coming across as disjointed to me. Plus US's vocalist destroys this guy imo. And I'm a sucker for the outer-space atmosphere haha.

the vox are not consistent with these guys. but ultimately that's probably the only gripe I have

Have you listened to Uneven Structure before Willie?

I can see how it may be disjointed to some. They are trying to cram alot of ideas in and some may not seem to fit. I was trying to explain this band to a friend and I said its what Dillinger Escape Plan would be if you slowed them down.

@Gmork: Yes. They're alright but kind of bland.

Some of the moments with the most potential are weakened because of the band’s tendency to drag out certain lesser parts longer than necessary. This issue will likely sort itself out as the members mature and continue to experiment with different ideas.

Feel like you should have listened to it two or three times more before writing. Thought the same at first, then it grew immensely: blows every other metal release of 2012 for innovation and progression: this quote could have easily described their previous effort, but with this they just went straight to the core: six songs, no fillers.. Gehenne's build-up is devastating.
