Dude, feature, nice!

I probably won't look into this though.

Alright. I know it's not melodeath (pun intended).

Well. I may only encourage you to broaden your musical horizons.

The reason why I won't check this out is quite on the contrary. Namely, I'm just tired of traditional heavy metal/it doesn't excite me anymore as much. I've got my Sabbath's and Maiden's and Dio's and yeah, that'll suffice for me.

I thought exactly the same until I started checking out some of the most notable current revivalist heavy metal bands. Sure they do nothing new, but who the hell does anything new these days. Anyways, this, Dawnbringer, Hammers of Misfortune and Grand Magus are certainly worth checking out.

Have tried Grand Magus from that list and they didn't do anything for me. We'll see, I might give this a spin if I'm in the right mood, but I won't make any promises.

It grows on you, but I feel as though the vocals seem to be a bit repetitive and monotone. If the singer had more range, I think I would really dig this. Also, the drumming has awful production and sounded all muffled :/

The drums aren't the highlight for sure. They're pretty simple, but still... this isn't a progressive release so it's kind of understandable. Yet, they could be a tad more imaginative.

Dawnbringer are cool, but still this is a bit better imo because of the vocals. I haven't checked out Slough Feg yet.

Preciously why you overrated this ; ).

I've got my Sabbath's and Maiden's and Dio's and yeah, that'll suffice for me.

Take it from me, Slough Feg are the best NWOBHM band ever.

Down Among the Dead, Traveller or Ape Rising are all amazing. I would say The Animal Spirits is somewhat their weakest album but it's still fucking awesome.

Slough Feg fucking rules! Traveller is my favorite, but all of their albums are great. Hardworlder and Ape Rising would probably round out my top 3.

Her vocals are fine. If you like Diamond Head, Witchfinder General, or the first two Megadeth albums, they sound great. This albums actually reminds me of Lightning to the Nations mixed with the first Witchfinder album, and for some reason I hear some of Dave Mustaine's rasp in her voice, before he went all high and shit.
