I don't know, the review was a bit ranty and unfocused, but in general... I agree. Deja has its moments, but it falls flat a bit too often. Devil is much, much better. The rating seems just right to me.

The argument that this album doesn't have lasting appeal is pretty lul worthy to me considering it is the 2nd most played album on my Ipod and I listen to it at least once a week since I got it like 2 years ago.

i think the relative simplicity of this album is a good thing. its too poppy, if it were any more complex it would sound messy and overly ambitious for a young band.
the production and sound of the devil and god allowed for more complex structures.
