This album still holds up. Haven't heard anything remotely similar from any band at all since Synergy. Even that was almost completely different in execution. Their latest is an absolute blast (with probably the best sounding kit I've heard in metal for a long time), but it can't top this. Still surprised and saddened at how small the band's following is.

I agree, it's a shame these guys have such a small following. Well, or so it appears. It saddens me that some great proggy, techy melodic bands just go by unlistened like that. I guess it's not for everyone but seriously, Extol are too good and deserve a hell lot more.
