exactly. instead of playing triplets on double bass (or something like that) during that riff, he uses that same fucking basic beat he plays on EVERY metallica song since '91. it sounds like it's meg white playing not lars ul.. oh wait...
he really is that awful now isn't he? :/

Some parts were promising, didn't enjoy Just a Bullet away, reminds me of Don't Tread On Me.
I do not like the stripped down, bland sound on DM and on this. IMO they should atleast follow the Black Album.

I enjoyed DM, and this is pretty good too. Just A Bullet Away probably should have made the cut instead of The End Of The Line or Broken Beat & Scarred imo.

And the drumming is fine. What Lars plays suits the level of heaviness and the type of groove they are going for with this music. No need for excessive double bass.
