This is a true return to MDB's classics. As the Flower Withers and Turn Loose the Swans are still by FAR their best albums.

To my ears the "clean singing" kills this band for me. But, due to the exceptional songwriting I still listen. MDB need karaoke versions of their albums !

This deserves so much more love. Astonishingly bleak and spooky shit. One of the greatest epics i’ve ever heard, and it never gets old. Wish more people knew this existed
