Semicolons can come before conjunctions, especially if there is any other punctuation within the two clauses, like commas.

The bonus track "Glimpse of the Con" is actually one of the best songs on the album. Considering how strong their recent acoustics have been (Highland's Apparition, Prima Donna, Glimpse of the Con, and Indifference), I'd actually be really interested to see an acoustic album from Chevelle (or just from Pete as a solo album). I know a lot of Chevelle fans seem to dislike the idea, but in some ways I think Chevelle truly wanted to do an acoustic album until they saw the uproar it caused.
