Can't get into this. A lot of it feels rather awkward, or doesn't "fit" with other parts. At the moment I'd rate it a 3, but I haven't listened to it that much so I can't make a final judgement yet.

Can't wait to listen. Sci-Fi Crimes was really good, I thought, but I liked Vena Sera and This Type of Thinking so much more (the latter actually making me a fan of Chevelle). Still think 'Saferwaters' is their best song.

After my first listen, this album is probably their most consistent, however I didn't really hear any standout songs such as Brainiac or Family System. They also seem to rely a little much on big choruses. However the pacing is good, though the album sort of just ends after Clones.

Haven't listened to these guys in almost a year and a half, despite the fact that I loved Sci-Fi Crimes. I was quite worried I would dislike their new material as my tastes have changed dramatically, but, much like the review said, this is surprisingly similar to WWN. Almost as good too!
