I've only recently played this album, but it is freaking amazing! It could sure use more love on this database.

This was first review I ever did. Haven't listened to this in years but I'm sure it still rips so hard. Vinnie was one of the very few in this era who could compete with Yngwie's ferocity on the fretboard

it rules so hard
|
| |
Yep, one of the best in the genre
|
| |
has dope synth solos too, more than most shred stuff i've heard. bloc have you heard Michael Angelo Batio - No Boundaries?
|
| |
I have never heard a full album from him. I've seen a lot of his videos with the double necked guitar gimmick and assumed his actual music would be a similar wank fest?
|
| |
his later albums become extreme wankery to the point of being unlistenable. he's not the best songwriter or creative type, but he is without a doubt my favorite guitar player and at the top of the shred hierarchy imo lol. Michael Romeo is another favorite, and Jason Becker is pretty great. check out Rain Forest from No Boundaries, that album is awesome and more similar to this.

Ooh I love Romeo and Becker. And ok, I will check those albums out.
