Way to mix up the lead singer's name. I can't take this review seriously because of that.

This grew on me. For awhile I only liked their newest release Vena Sera, the more I listen to this the more i'm diggin it.

You talked a lot about Sam in this lol. Overall, a decent review and Chevelle is awesome. This isn't their best one, I think Vena Sera is their best by far.

I like this album. It's pretty minimalist in its instrumentation, but the songwriting is excellent. The drums sound epic in this album in sort of an industrial way.

Both Type of Thinking and Vena Sera are better. Less filler as their career goes along.

Man i use to think this was the most brutal album ever back in 2003. lol
Dug it out for nostalgic reasons: cause it's still a solid listen.
That Family System riff is killer awesome despite the simplicity.
