man the sound is so much sludgier and yes filthier on this
but to be honest i really appreciate this
its so much fuller
so much more interesting
than even the sound on psalms
not to mention twitch or mind
intro for dead guy has a lot of no wave energy
but then it goes into a sick ass grove which i love
fuck yeah mang
this gotta be my fav ministry album so far

oh wow lol i forgot about rape and honey, putting that one in my collection of albums that are inferior to filth pig aswell. forgetting about it means its probably their most forgettable album, might lower its score

Ugh, one of my favourite albums when it came. Still very good under right circumstances. Layladylay is one of the best covers i've heard

yeah its gonna be pretty damn hard for ministry to beat this album for me further along their discography. i love the sludgy sound of this so much man, perfect fit with their industrial foundation.

Oh i guess i really liked Step and Nursing Home

'Nursing Home' rules yeah
For me this album has about four absolute classic tunes and then the rest is lesser.

My mom saw this band live the other night. Don’t think I’ve ever wittingly heard anything by them.

Wow, fair play to Boney mum.
I wouldn't expect them to be your thing but maybe 'Land of Rape and Honey' would be a better starting point than this, not sure

Spoon really hits the spot when in disjointed/dispondant mode. Eureka Pile is a mood, ditto Nursing Home
