Both bands deserve all the credit they get, they both did something that hasn't been done before, and rose to a 'time-less' level of talent.

I liked this band a lot in my youth, but after dicovering zeppelin, hendrix, sabbath ect. I find queen a bit of a let down but still good and worth a spin.

Not only that, he also just thinks everybody sucks just because he's ignorant. A lot of people I know say they hate U2 because they're "righteous" and that isn't cool and they hate the stones becuase they're old and that is wayyy not cool.

Wow, recent classic rock album reviews brings up this kind of argument. It is absolutely ridiculous to say the beatles are overrated, every album they put out was absolutely new and revolutianary 1965-1969, zeppelin put out great albums, but nowhere near as groundbreaking.

Queen aren't too popular at my school. I think I do have this on vinyl, though. If I do I haven't listened to it in quite some time, but I remember liking it anyhow.

this is my favourite Queen's album ever. This album is great. Recomended Songs:
1. Bohemian Rhapsody. I think the music is unique and original. I love the piano and guitar sound.
2. Love of my life. I love the piano sound and the guitar, in concert. accoustic guitar. And I love the lyrics. It's beautiful. I think Freddie is a genius song-author and a nice singer.
3. You're my best friend. Love the piano,drum,and guitar sound.

I busted out my dad's old records and found this, gave it a whirl, and was VERY impressed.
I knew that "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Your My Best Friend" were classics, but "Death on Two Legs", "'39", "Seaside Rendezvous", "Prophet's Song", and "Love of My Life" are also dang good songs.
My dad's got two more Queen records, can't wait to hear em.

Nice review you've got here. Personally, I didn't think much of "Sweet Lady", other than the catchy guitar riff at the beginning. I'd have to say that "The Prophet's Song" is one of, if not, the best songs on the album.

Best rock album IMO. A Queen collection is not complete without this album. Bohemian Rhapsody is a tad overrated, but still, a truely classic album.
