I agree with you Silenius, the production certainly does not hold it back; I actually think it compliments the music and as well as mood. This album I have the same thoughts for as "For All Tid" which is very pleasurably melancholy. This album is extremely emotional for me, as it conveys. As I said "For All Tid," as so with this album, one of the best albums to hit earth.

Just got done listening to Twilight of the Thunder God and I'm listening to this for the first time in a really long time. Still as good as it was when I first heard it. This is one of the best symphonic black metal albums ever made.
