I just bought the deluxe version of the new album today. After the song "Hypocrites", I thought KoRn were getting worse than before. By the time I reached "Coming Undone" though, I felt very satisfied that I got this. I wish that the b-sides on the bonus disc ("It's Me Again", "Eaten Up Inside", and "Last Legal Drug (Le Petit Mort)") should have been put on the album itself instead of songs like "Souvenir" and "Love Song", but other than that the deluxe edition was definitely worth the money.
The single is absolutely terrible, and even worse live. Obviously, the video is a redeeming factor for the song, especially since the music is mixed down in favor of the comedic factor.
The video itself is the hook, not the song, which pretty much sucks copious amounts of farts.

mmmm sucking farts. thats how i start my day off. i big 'ol suck of farts mmmm mm that just sounds appealing
*throws up*

Also, I meant Korn have released 5 albums SINCE
1994's Korn (1 Life is peachy, 2 Follow the leader, 3. Issues, 4. Untouchables. 5. TALITM) 5!
I know Korn have said they aren't 'angry' at Head, I think
it is blatently obvious that 'Liar' is somewhat directed at
Head.

Okay...I have read a bunch of these reviews and it is funny to see how many different views there are on Korn. Well here is mine. Korn are my heroes. They have changed with the times in each album. Not like some bands that either stay the same and fade out or just turn to crap (ie. my old favorites Metallica). I can't imagine why anyone would down the last two Korn albums TALITM or Untouchables. Most albums have some songs that we just don't jive with, but both of those albums produced some of Korns greatest hits. Especially TALITM...right now...alive...when will this end...
This new cd took me about three listens through to start to appreciate it. When I think Korn, I don't think of songs like Twisted Transistor or Politics. I like the songs where Jon pours his heart into it, like Throw me away and Coming Undone and even the last one Saturated Lonliness. But because of those songs and a few others that I dig the fat beats, the cd is definitely worth the buy and it will definitely get you bangin your head. As always...Korn ******* ROCKS!!!

Fabellica, the last song's called "Tearjerker" and the hits on Take A Look In the Mirror were "Right Now", "Did My Time", "Everything I've Known", and "Y'All Want A Single". Check your sources.

There's something very wrong with this album.. And i'm pretty sure it's the fact of using a pop producer that produced Hillary Duff/ Avril lavigne albums... It's kinda like what happened in metallica's st anger.. korn Are sounding like...dunno... Maroon 5? :o
|
| |
Hm, have not heard anything but Twisted Transistor so far. It's an ok song. The video is funny though

the video is indeed very funny and original.
I have heard Tearjerker and i think it is kinda disappointing, i was hoping for another No one's There

barosjn... my sources are my ears...if you are talking about the songs that the radio stations play out, then yes, you are correct. If you don't consider 'Alive' and 'When Will This End' some of Korns greats, then I don't think our views will jive anytime soon. The song tearjerker was also called saturated lonliness on some of Korns websites, so if you are that technical, then I guess you got me.

Much anticipated album, very different from KoRn, but i like it alot. Liar, Politics, Seen It All and Tearjerker all stand out, and i think they are some of KoRn's best songs ever. Good review, im glad you fixed the 'paragraph problem' :/

This actually looks damn good... I havn't said that about a KoRn album since I was still wearing bondage pants and eyeliner. I'm going to give a few songs a listen and see if it's worth picking up.
Me and KoRn go way back lol, I've been into them since I was a preteen and they got me back into metal and rap. It's promising to see good reviews so far and it would be nice to have a KoRn album that I want to listen to again.
Only song I've heard so far is Twisted Transistor... funniest damn video I can remember in a long time. Everyone just fucking nailed their KoRn member's playing style. Plus anything with Snoop Dogg near it gets an instant thumbs up from me.
