I kinda dig Let's Dance in its full length but it maybe needed a little trimming

first side - no complaints. second side - basically nothing doing. it's the Two-Face of albums.

"first side - no complaints. second side - basically nothing doing. it's the Two-Face of albums."
The first side is pop perfection, but the second side--not so much. I guess you could get away with that on records because you only play one side at a time . . . This is a good album but I don't think it's great (especially for Bowie). I go back and forth between 3 and 3.5 . . . I would give it a 3.3 if I could.

same ^ still worth owning for the singles although in this case I prefer the radio/single edits found on the Best Of.

Yeah, maybe he should have put Cat People on the first side too (and Without You on the second).

The only songs I don't dig are Without You and Shake It, but even those are still listenable. I love how Bowie adapts to new trends in music and then deconstructs and satirizes them with his nihilistic humor. I recently did a speech on David's career for my Communications course. ^__^
