I personally find "Sober" good but over-hyped when compared to the talent needed for a few of the other tracks found throughout the album. I still enjoy it far more than almost every track off of Lateralus however.

Yeah Sober is decent, Prison Sex is better.

When it came out it was definitely a 5 for me but over time it's gone down due to the lyrics. It's really lacking in comparison to the albums that followed imo.

If I had to rank them I'd go

I just can't get into Lateralus, only a few tracks really grab me while the the listing seems to go "track-interlude-track"

there's only like 3 interludes right? and one of them is the last song.

this is my least favorite, but its still very good.

There's five, most are lead in's to other tracks; always wanted to know why you couldn't just make them one track.

The lead-ins on Lateralus at least lead into the song and flow as a whole, as opposed to Aenima where they're just put there for no reason

@ohfoxxxycole - I'd like them better as one track, not to mention it would make the album 8 tracks instead of 13.

I find Aenima's to be far better as a whole personally.

Please get the fuck out of here with the low ratings. This shit is unreal. If you are a fan of Tool you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

This isn't a "very low" 5, this album is a 5 all day long, 365 days a year. This album ruled when it came out, and it rules right now.

There isn't a single weak track on this album, folks! If you think there is you need to spin the mother fucker again, and dust the cobwebs out of your ears. This shit sounds crystal clear, every song is how it needs to be, with no pretentious fluff or fills or filler.

Disgustipated is track 69 because it's a hidden track, you'd know that if you actually owned the fucking album, you god damn scrubs.
