Vessel is about on par with this tbh

Nah
This > Blurryface > Vessel
I know that's an unpopular opinion but whatever (also haven't hear Regional yet)

Blurryface is a solid 3.5 from what I recall
Also haven't heard Regional yet [2]

I keep coming back to this. Let's face it, it's their best album. I know it, you know it, everybody knows it.

Prefer Vessel slightly tbh, but it's like a 0.2 difference (V being a 4.3 and this being a 4.1)

Vessel kind of bores me, I gave it a 3.

Fair enough, that album had to grow on me, was probably around a 3.3 for me initially.
What I will give this album is that "Trapdoor" is a stone-cold 5/5 song, and "Friend, Please," "Taxi Cab" and "Isle of Flightless Birds" aren't far behind

Yeah, Trapdoor is my favorite too.

Unsure if I like this because nostalgia, or if it's actually great. I should listen to it some more. Isle of Flightless Birds is still excellent, though.

"I don't think anyone here knows them?"
Ahhhhh... the good old days

Album Rating: 3.5
Yeah, this band exploded so quick, glad for them.

Hahaha yeah, it feels almost warped to look back on that quote now that they have a rabid fanbase and are scoring top 5 hits left and right

Tyler's vox are way better here than on later efforts

It’s the more complex songwriting. Here he allows his voice more room to breathe whereas in later releases it’s all about how it’ll play live.
