in all honesty, Friday I'm in Love is just a very rare occasion where i'll actually knock a song for the lyrics
pretty much cos of the "days of the week" trope
but truly I think that's just a holdover stigma from high school when I first heard the song and thought that, cos each time I hear it I do warm up to it a little bit more
