Haha, agreed linchpin313.....People are so transparent sometimes it baffles me.....more disconcertive than anything though...This album rules...Sure; It's no Nihility or The Negation, but who cares? This album is good in it's own right and that's all that matters....Was glad to see them take a much more mature approach to their riffing this time around.

I like it. It's the same thing as the previous record, that being really neither good nor bad. What they do, they do well, but they're just a bit repetitive. And the vocals aren't that great, either. Overall it was fun, but nothing really awesome. 3.0-3.5.

very solid album, but... vocalist is too close to Meshuggah vocalist and many riffs sound like Meshuggah also, but i like it....between 3,5 and 4

For now I think it's a 3.5 Not that it is a bad album. But after a few listen, I think Nihility is better than this. But I'll

have to give it more tries so it can grow then maybe I'll increase my rating.



Technically, it's really good. It's brutal and technical. Maybe brutal "over the top", but the fact they're using breaks

or calmer moments makes it less painful.



Like 05McDo wrote, it's a bit Meshuggah-esque per moments. That's what I thought too.



I would agree with Voivod that riffing tends to be chugga-chugga sammy in each song. However, there are good

solos throughout the album and this help compensate.



"Carnival Is Forever" is a standout track definitely.



"404" is quite interesting with the dissonant chords used and the groove.



"A View From a Hole" is pretty good too. Nice riffing, insane drumming and I like a lot the never-ending screams of

Rafal Piotrowski.



I like a lot "Silence". I think it's a good ending track. It balances out the attack from previous tracks. It's like: "ok now

you can rest in peace". I'd like to hear from the band what they have to say about it. Maybe it's in connection with the loss of Vitek?



Production of the album is excellent.



But something is missing and I don't what yet...
