Great review, i can totally relate to the points you made. However i really like this album. I think they did so much better compared to their previous releases which were more or less mediocre in my opinion.[2]
Featuring the best tracks since "Pages". I also like the diffident production.

Thanks Seraph. Glad you can feel that way when not agreeing with the ultimate rating. And I can understand anyone who thinks the way you do too. I definitely haven't written the band off, that's for certain.

Well, you can tell their heart was in the right place with this album. They actually weren't far off pulling it off too.

That is one nice metaphor you got there .) Fit's very well.
Anyway, am I in the position to recommend you something, Davey? Because I would be heavily interested in your opinion about Harvard's 'The Inevitable And I'.

You may recommend & I have listed (as opposed to listened). When I listen to it, I'm not so sure. They sound interesting.

'The Inevitable And I' is an incredible album. Takes a while to sink in.

It seems that everything I've been listening to lately takes a while to sink in. Can be the sign of a special album though.

Seems like a step in a right direction musically but the opposite vocally. Probably their best material since the Pages EP though.

Re: the vocals vs the music: I think I'd agree with that summation, although a few people feel the exact opposite.
They've only had 1 LP since 'Pages' so the 2nd comment is kind of irrelevant. Either way, I think the songwriting needs to get better.
