Plus Friden is still their vocalist.
Yup, but he's definitely a ton better here than he was on ASOP.

And yeah, I just happen to love everything these guys put out, I can't even explain why I guess, I just do. I guess it's the same for me with this album like it was with you and Kalmah last year.

Like this review, it pretty much mirrors my thoughts about the album. I'd go so far as to say "A New Dawn" is the best track they've written since the nineties.

Ya, he's really not that bad. His growls can still get pretty psychotic at times.

"Those who crave for the old golden days of The Jester Race/Whoracle/Colony/Clayman are still going to after this album, and those who have accepted In Flames’ new direction and acknowledge that the group is never going back to its old melodic death metal ways will most likely enjoy this album a lot. "

Just wanted to let you know you need a 'go' in there. Don't know if you're still checking these comments, but hey, I tried

I am indeed still keeping tabs on my older reviews as well, but I, in fact, do not need a "go" in there ;).

I always liked the vocals, they just click with me. This is a solid album. About even with ASoP.

You guys should check out their new live stuff, Anders seems to be revitalized and they seem to play Embody the Invisible a lot. Hope you all enjoy!
