listening to it right now, i'll give my opinion and rating once i'm done.
oh wait no i want to clear up 2 things : the chorus of "get a life" is annoying as shit. and the one in "douchebag" (awesome guitar riff), is the most stupid and unoriginal thing an 8 year old could come up with.

and Lethal's (the beatmaster behind much of House of Pain's discography) sound design and DJing is more credible than most "rock DJs".
Mr Hahn > Lethal

No love for Kilmore?
After Morning View he kinda just fell into the background really
|
| |
And even then I'd make the claim that he only really stood out on Make Yourself

My opinion on gold cobra : i'll call it positive party metal. immature, and should more be heard live than on an album.
Vocals : 2/5 Poor. Durst gives all he has on some songs, like walking away, and gc has a nice flow. but even though i've learned to pretty much ignore his lyrics, i can't forgive the chorus of get a life and especially douchebag.
Guitar : 5/5. This is classic Borland we're talking about, and we get to hear him much more, noone will get tired of his creativity and heaviness.
Drums : 4/5 Excellent. John Otto's sense of rythm is awesome. A reliable drummer you can count on. The album isn't much like Significant Other, so he keeps it simple, but you can still feel the groove his kick provides on songs like shark attack. He's the man responsible for making your head nod.
DJ and Bass : 3/5 Good. But you won't hear them often.
Overall feeling of the album : 3/5. It's alright. Some songs will be on my media player (f*ck ipods). Some will never, for sanity reasons. Special mention for the end on "Loser", mockery and maybe even self criticism at the same time.
Total rating = 18/30, or exactly 3/5.
