decimate the weak actually had a few good tracks (a cold day in hell/anthems of apocalypse, angels of debauchery) but unfortunately they decided to go full-on wiggercore with this album. had they progressed the other way towards a more symphonic black metal sound this band could have been decent. but they didn't, and this sucks.

true, still love the sympho arrangements like in 'refined in the fire' may change the rating to 2,5 since the lyrics are kinda awfull

listen to anthems of apocalypse if you haven't already, that's by far their best song imo. if they went back to that style and just toned down the bro mosh wiggercore shit a little bit they could be an alright band. although i don't see the terrible lyrics being remedied anytime soon haha.

"Only Song We're Allowed to Play in Church"
....I'm not sure if I could come up with a gayer song title if I tried.

@auberginedreams yes that song is preety cool, the intro 'A cold day in hell' is a great listen as well, they build up a good atmosphere, dunno about the rest of the album, after awhile i stoped paying attention, about the lyrics of course, a band can only progress after each release imo, unless their a buncha idiots hahaha

^^Jockstraps,
did you not read the last line of the review?- "This of course is a joke, this album is a joke, and aside the pianist and the drummer, I’d say the whole band is too."
