Doesn't read like a 3.5 but I completely agree. Fantastik review.

I pretty much agree. It's good, but it's really lacking energy.
Also I think Pathfinder is in response to Geoffs Ricklys message to Jeremy/TA in Stay True.Don't quote me on that though.

I like the lyrics. =/ And the ending of the album smashes the start.

I too like the lyrics, they're quite heartfelt and awkward.

The lyrics on ...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse are so infinitely superior.

The lyrics on this tread the fine line of being whiny and being something to relate too, and they fall on both sides. Condolences is so good though...maybe because I too have been there =P

Yeah, while I've never fantasized about my funeral;I definitely would care a lot more about what music is playing than who would attend.

I totally agree with this review. I've had this since it first came out and still haven't made up my mind if it deserves over a 3.5. Simply bc it's just too short.

since when is length of a screamo/hardcore album an issue

I'm relatively new to this genre. Recently bought albums from Defeater, Pianos become the Teeth, Former Thieves and Native which are all phenomenal. I enjoy Touché Amoré but i'm having problems with the track lengths. Sometimes it kinda annoys me when a great song only lasts like one minute or so which happens quite often on Touché albums ^^ Am i the only one? I guess it's somehow typical for this genre?

i think that everyone agrees that even though parts of this were a letdown, if they play it right, their next album could be fucking awesome
