Oh Deviant, just noticed that it was *you* who missed off the last two songs off the tracklist. Does this mean that you haven't heard them?

I have, they're okay

The last 2 are bonus tracks. If you have the physical release you don't know them, so that's pretty much self-explanatory.
Also, scusi to Dev, as I'm responding in his place a bit...

Yeah, I was thinking of posting something about electronic music in the staff blog, ie what are the basic genres, where are good starting points. But problem is I don't understand dubstep, and seems like that is what all the kids are getting into these days.

As long as you put Kraftwerk as the main starting point, I'm a happy man ;)

I though dubstep was on the way out anyway?
General consensus round here anyway is that the heavier stuff is getting a little stale and the softer stuff would be improved ten fold without the bass (hence we now have "post-dubstep"). But I don't know if that's true for anywhere outside of this little city.

Nah I put Tangerine Dream in front of Kraftwerk haha.

Dubstep is more popular than ever, and no we don't have post dubstep

Also: fantastic link on genres. I have a friend who's more into electronic music than I am and he'll love it.
I think the comments on each genre and how bad they are make it for me.

Damn, well that isn't good.
And you know what I mean by post-dupstep. I just don't have a term for it that isn't used by Pitchfork.

M'kay, I just added a bit to the review to explain why I prefer ISAM to "the other electronic stuff"
Also, added a recommendation but it's not on the database (as usual, I'm appalled D: ) so I'll see about fixing that later and doing a little review for it. In the meantime, have a butchers:

More of the organic/mechanical pairing but a little softer and a little simpler, but not everyone's been in the game as long as Tobin.

I'll let you know if I do, also I'm moving to Karori soon; although Karori has bad connotations to me, kinda like Newtown or the hutt.

Just before this dies, does anyone have any major criticisms of the writing of this review before I start on the next one? Thanks.

Because I'm a beast and/or have far too much time on my hands, I went ahead and reviewed the recommended EP and tied it in a little with this one.
Now that's dedication
[Thumbs up. Look at camera. Smile.]
