Oh right, right, right.
Ah, 'Pumped up Kicks' is a really good song. Deserves all the play it's getting.

This album reminds me a lot of the feelings I got when I heard Hot Fuss for the first time and that's regarded as one of my favorite and most nostalgic albums.
|
| |
It reminds me of Avi Buffalo...don't know why. =/
Still, nostalgia is a great thing to have in an album. =)

one song people
one. song.

I'm not gonna lie i feel really bitter listening to pumped up kicks since its allover mainstream. cashing in on god knows what. tis a shame since the song is really catchy
i guess the cynicism works due to the lyrical content of the song.
|
| |
what the fuck does any of that mean? lol
|
| |
Yeah, that's unfair to say. It must be a fairly esoteric thing from the music itself if you're going to like or dislike them based on their popularity or how dissected they are by the masses. I can understand a song being over-played but feeling bitter simply because everyone else listens to it? I don't think that's the music's fault buddy. =/

Last week my friend told me he has trouble getting into The Decemberists because they're too big. Two problems: they're not, and musical taste should be based on the music not the popularity...
