Bolt Thrower is a bit redundant, but that's not a weakness to me. This album is a straight up war-tape. This is the soundtrack to mass destruction.

Those Once Loyal I can see as "better", but it's just a different beast. Their later albums aren't down-tuned as much and it's more polished. This album here has enough low end to break your record player and is raw enough to inspire fear in lesser beings.

agree a bit. You can pretty much say that about the first two amon amarth albums. get the first two albums from bolt thrower and amon amarth and you have all the war death metal and viking death metal you need if you aren't heavy into it.
