God damn no, they released a statement that you need tickets to get into the campground. No sasquatch for me this year.

More like a 4.7 in my book

You crazy lance?

I can concede to your point that the album does use the quiet to loud mechanism on the majority of it's tracks, but so does every Brand New album, and try ripping on them for not being experimental. Same thing in the album, For example "I See Dark" is far from the traditional folk that you would expect in an album like this, I mean accordion country folk to melancholy wailing..try finding that anywhere else. I think this definitely has an experimental edge. And even if that wasn't the case, this album is so well done, and is so infectious and charming that to rate it any less than a 4.5 is blasphemy. I mean, how dare you rate it "excellent"..you piece of shit!

I feel so much better now that you're here Fitz. Everyone wont read my review claiming that anything less than a 5 is a paradox. Maybe I should have drawn more of a connection the earth is not a cold dead place or is the fleet foxes comparison ample?

Nah, I definitely think you took the right route with fleet foxes. I definitely see the connection you made with EITS,

but even the initial comparison was a stretch. The Fleet Foxes illustrated your point clearly.

I think your biggest issue in this review is the fact that you tried to please the crowd and rated the album a 4, forcing

you to call the music "everything you want in an album" and then backtrack and recover. It would of been better if

you fucked the man, rated the album a 3.5 or even a 3, and spent the majority of the review discussing the

monotonous aspects of the album. It would of just presented a clearer and more unified statement.

This was by no means a bad write though...a great one actually.
