Finally got around to listening to this all the way through. I find it a bit weird that the same dude who made 9 samurai can release a whole album of tunes that never stand out as anything beyond decent. A good listen throughout but it just seems like he should be able to reach a bit more greatness than he does.

Im just a tad too predictable

Good album. I used "Otherman" in a scene for one of my short films. I took out the vocals, and i used it to decorate a scene where the characters use ecstasy- the music really made the scene come to life.

Saw him a few nights ago, he put on an amazing set, didn't play any of this stuff though. The whole set was UK Funky based with a little trap thrown in a few times, danced my face off the whole time with my girlfriend, Silentpotato, and Aids, all in all great night

Did he bring Spaceape with him?

No spaceape's were sighted, might've been a different story if I had found pills for the night

Nice! Market Square was the perfect venue for him to play too

Yeah man I'm so tired right now, it was a long weekend but so worth the pain hahahaha I can't wait for next year

I don't know if I'll be able to swing that, I'm going over to Van twice for shows in October and im in the middle of saving to go to London/Outlook Festival in Croatia next year so concert money is really tight. I'm defs gonna come down next show I can make that's in Vic and we'll party hard

Not sure why but I decided to give this a shot again in the last week or so and I've been spinning it a lot and it's really growing on me. Some of this is still a tad underwhelming for me but it definitely isn't as monotonously mediocre as I initially thought it was. Definitely gonna bump this rating a bit after some more listens.
