This songs is muuuuuuuuuuuuch better live. Poor quality on the studioalbum.

Still i love 4-5 songs here. Black Magic and Termentor are not include. Live is better.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with the production; thrash is a dish best served raw.

Besides, if you think this has bad production, listen to Venom's Welcome To Hell.

with old thrash albums the production helps to make it for me, personally

if you think this has bad production, listen to Venom's Welcome To Hell.

The production on Venom's early stuff can be quite off-putting, but I was pressured into getting into them due to their perceived importance. But the production on Sepultura's debut EP and also on their first album is among the worst I've ever heard.

I've only listened to a few songs on it, so I have no doubt that I'll get used to it eventually.

Anyway, Crionics is an amazing song.

Yeah its an awesome song. I wish I had heard this album before I listened to Reign or Seasons, I probably would have been more into this than I am

Great review, really good for a track by track. Check out my 'Seasons In The Abyss' review. I'm working on a 'Reign In Blood' one at the moment. I downloaded this yesterday. I agree with you, evil has no boundries IS basically a big clump of noise, but it's really good.

This CD is closer to 4.5 than 5 but because I love Slayer, I bumped it to 5. Not all of the songs completely thrash my ears off but they are all very good at least. Every song is good, meriting the 5 score and there is not one slow song or filler song. An excellent first CD for Slayer and the quality of song craftmanship overcomes the production values. A lot of Slayer live classics on this one and some that are overlooked but shouldn't be. All Slayer fans should not miss this one.

I don't get the hype with this. It's good, but the 4.5's and 5's are lost on me.
