I love the drums on the older stuff...
GLU's my favorite, but followed closely by Overcast! and Lucy Ford. Seven's Travels and Sad Clown Bad Dub II after that, then YCIHMFWH. everything else is in that 2-3 range for me.
and similar to what Deviant said and what kingsoby said on the last page, I think a lot of it has to do with when you started listening to Atmosphere. I imagine it's somewhat how Metallica fans who started listening in the mid 80s felt about Black Album and Load. but then again there are people who consider those albums their most listenable or "the" Metallica discs or whatever, so it's all just perception and perspective probably.

I liked it. Just compared to Lemons, it's sub-par. It's hard to follow up on a classic hip hop album.

I think Slug needs to leave Atmosphere behind. His best work has been on Deep Puddle Dynamics, Dynospectrum, and I even prefer Felt 3 over most of the Atmosphere albums.
