As much as I hate this band, I think they have potential to eventually put out something just short of being good.

Had Scream rated as a 1.5 and I'm only checking this out for shits and giggles but it's not bad so far.

Great review and I agree with you on many levels of it. I saw a lot of promise after the first two tracks, but once I heard more of random synth playing I knew they hadn't gone too far from that which was very disappointing. 3 for me because I think they tweaked their formula to create a better sound and lyricly it isn't the greatest, but is better than Stand Up and Scream. Quick question, am I the only person who just hates it when bands use cursing as mindless filler? May just be a personal taste of mine to hate that.

For some reason, Another Bottle Down is really standing out to me. There's something about that orchestral vibe thing they have going in it that's getting me hooked. Rating is only a frail attempt at raising the overall, this deserves about a 3/3.5.

I was really enjoying the first minute or so of high screams on Morte Et Dabo ... The last 4 minutes just do not fit that intro.

This is a super guilty pleasure for me. I hate myself for liking this, but some of these songs aren't bad. The cleans are massively improved.

haha ben bruce is funny.

Anyway good album, and I guess overall it's better than stand up and scream but they're riffs are still pretty repetitive and whatnot but oh well.

Honestly, I don't give a fuck if it's original or technical or any of that shit. I fucking had a good time listening to it, although it definitely got repetitive.
