Bieng from the UK i can't tell you enough, how much this trash irritates me every time its annoying and ugly head pops up on the radio and TV. You guys in the US are lucky that you don't have to hear this shit as much 'cos she ain't big there yet (will she ever be?)...
Loved the summary : ) Sums up my feelings exactly.

Album cover makes me want to kill this chick with a shovel. Haven't heard the music, but it's probably a safe bet that I wont want to hear this.

Don't listen to this review. It's so unbelievably pre-determined. He spent 3/4 of the review insulting her as an artist and whining about over singing when that's practically what every pop star does nowadays. If you like Pop music/RNB/Reggae and you like keeping your music library optimistic, you will love her.

Don't listen to this comment. It's all so unbelievably pre-determined. He spent 3/4 of the comment insulting him as a reviewer and whining about how he disagreed with everything he said

I didn't insult her as an artist at all. In fact, I spend the majority of the review explaining that this album seems removed from her persona and, if you will, her artistic potential. And just because every pop artist 'over sings' doesn't mean it's not a huge barrier to enjoying this record. Because it is. And yes. Reggae.
As I said in the comments, I expected, not to mention wanted, this to be good. It wasn't. It isn't. It's forced, messy, confused and directionless for almost all of its runtime.

I saw the album cover and thought Pauley Perrette's music career decided to take off.
