Dude, all their albums (possibly excluding Chuck) have some element of pop punk in them.

"Fat Lip" and "Still Waiting" are very, very different. I agree with you on that one.

Jared does have an idea about the band, but unfortunately, he seems to hate them (though most people enjoyed everything up to Underclass Hero when the hating started).

He reviewed the album quite thoroughly, he just used a large amount of comparisons (maybe overused, to be honest).

I agree with your comment on the rating (though I'd say that it's, at minimum, a two point five or three). However, the review was great, and Jared Ponton is a legend. Don't fuck with him, 'cause he's one of the best reviewers on this site.

However, I love Sum 41. I loved Screaming Bloody Murder and Underclass Hero (no, I'm not a fanboy. I just happen to like those two "terrible" albums). It's sad that they're getting such bad reception.

I've only rated it 5 to pick it up from the ridiculous reviews some people are giving it. I would've had no problem if you gave it a 2.5 and actually backed up your points with anything that makes a little bit of sense.



Underclass Hero ripping of Green Day? Yeah, a bit, but you're not reviewing that album, so why even bring it up? If you're actually a good reviewer, this is definitely not an example.
