Yeah Boney, I'm easing up on the 5's a bit...but they're all still absolute class guaranteed

Garden of Delete you either rate a 0.5-3 or you might as well slap a 5 on that thing. It does what it sets out to do with swag, if you're on board you 5 it.

Well unfortunately I'm definitely in the "3 or less" bracket on that one

Haven't listened to it in a while but I know with certainty when I finally do it'll be incredible - that album was pretty much all I listened to for about two months.
Saying all that, it's a really strange album and I totally understand anyone not warming to it

You'll be fine with this though ;)

It's definitely a matter of style over quality - it's definitely very good for what it is but stylistically it didn't appeal to me a whole ton.
Yeah, from what I understand this band is totally up my alley, maybe choose an album of theirs as your next rec for me as a prompt to check them out - once I've heard that Low album of course.

This is absolutely my favourite. Belly is a bit mediocre, but there are sublime passages.

Listened to all four albums back to back last week and I definitely prefer 'Wonderful Life' and 'Vivadixie' to this.
'Maria's Little Elbows' and 'Cruel Sun' are perhaps the best double whammy on any Sparklehorse album though.

Something has always slightly bothered me about Wonderful Life, but I can't really put a finger on it.
It just doesnt't go as deep as this one imo.
