I'll tell you why. He's a Pittsburgh boy so obviously he's all hyped up down there and he's everyone's hometown hero. I'll say a solid 15-20% of the kids that go to school down there are from Buffalo, so the dumb ones who listen to shitty music (ya know, pretty much everyone but me and hawks) catch on and bring the Mac Miller hype back home with them. And nothing gets us Buffalo Kids' dicks harder than Canada trips all summer long so we can go to bars, so we go to bars and talk about Mac Miller in Ontario and voila! the unsubstantiated hype has spread.
