desire was released less than 4 years ago btw (late june 07), you kept saying 5 in your review
umm yea so this disappointed me. and monch is easily my favourite rapper. his flow barely interests me in this one, but iirc there were some some cool lines. like you mentioned in the review, he almost sounds lazy here - but that could have been an intentional approach. w/e. might even bump this down to 2.5. but then again desire grew on me after some listens.

This is like Desire in that when it hits, it's awesome or flat out amazing, but when it misses it's quite forgettable. The difference being Desire only missed three times really.

really let down by this considering Internal Affairs is one of my favourite hip hop albums of all time, along with Stress.
It's still great, just not when compared to his older work

I'm really digging this so far, it's not as good as Desire but I actually prefer it to Internal Affairs (I find that album quite...immature, not sure if that's the right word) so yeah. Mot people probably won't agree with me but Desire > this > internal affairs.
