maybe it's just me, but I disagree. the opening track of the album is such a nice way to start, and the way it builds into the ferocity is really easy to listen to. I guess some of it's pretty crazy, but I think I knew that's what I was getting into, so it didn't really bug me.

Well look at that dude's ratings. If Tool is the heaviest band you've ever listened to, then this is a pretty big step up.

"I would look at the “5” section in my ratings and see “Colors” in the same box as “Kid A.” Now that odd tension of such a crude juxtaposition is gone"

that was very stupid lol.

ive been listening to this for 2 years and still have yet to find a metal album that is this much of a diverse, energetic powerhouse. It kind of seems like you wrote this review for justifying why you don't claim it to be a 5 any more, and thats not a reason to review an album. good writing style despite that though.

I didn't get that impression at all, what I got from the review was that he realised that he was wrong in thinking it was this big, serious, 'important' piece of art like, arguably Kid A is (and I'd agree) and instead focused on why it WAS good, which was because it's still a fun metal album.

its better than Kid A because Kid A sucks.

most albums are better than Kid A, including about 3 radiohead albums.

The album is sick no matter if it doesnt give you a good "feeling" granted it is a big asset but thats not all it is about.
