I'm not sure what I would rate this, but I think the second half has some great tracks too.

It was actually 'Mercy Me' that made me notice alkaline trio, but this was nonetheless the first album i got by the band. There isn't too much variety on offer here-everything pretty much sound like pop punk/Alt. rock with smatterings of melody. However, what keeps it from becoming overtly mediocre is the band's consistency throughout, with catchy choruses and melodious riffs here, there and everywhere. Judging by the ratings, it seems this is one of their weaker albums, but i'll see when i listen to their other albums.
