Another surprisingly good late-era R.E.M. Nothing revelatory, but lots of great tunes and melancholy. And I’ve got no problems with The Apologist either, Walk Unafraid is another interesting one. I will def jam “Up” more often.

26 years ago to the day I unwrapped this from under the tree, inserted it into the CD tray, pressed play and loved it.



I’m listening 26yrs later streaming it from fuck knows where and welling up. Still love it.
