To start with, I actually thought this album was really listenable. No, its not intelligent. No, its not ground breaking. But it is a very, very well written pop-punk album - and they don't over do the breakdowns anywhere near as much as other bands in the 'crabcore' genres. If you are looking for a serious album, this isn't where to look, but it is damn fun.

It's hard not to judge you. You're like a fat kid who keeps eating all the cake.

You give this album too much credit. Granted, the album has it's "fun," but it's still pretty damn bad.

andcas i've seen that avatar everywhere but it still makes has the ability to create some lulz.

on topic; this band got wayy worse. worse mistake having Zach scream less, and Devin sounds like... a fag.

Yeah, that's the thing Nikkolae, most fans of the band will not like this on 1st listen & be like you & not give it a 2nd chance.

Hmm, I'm gonna have to check these Brokencyde band out one day. I need more 1's to my name.

Thx Tyraelxy & PB.

Oh look, Emim has someone to play with in 3.5 land.

There is definitely a fun aspect to this, but I still bel.ieve it's gonna fall in between target audiences. I mean, your average pop-punk teen (pop-punk as in ATL & FOB) are gonna be turned off by the screams & breakdowns, while those who favor the screams & breakdowns are gonna say there are not enough of them.

I might give this album too much credit... Or I may just be pleased that Bizzy Bone does not appear.

Agreed TheOceanInside. They do not get the vocal balance correct here.

Excellent review. Couldn't have said it better. It was fair to the band without getting too critical. It makes me want to analyze this album again.

After listening to this again a few times at work today I have noted that -

Some of the more melodic breakdowns are awesome. The production really adds to this.

Some of the auto-tune is really bad and not well placed.

Overall its one of the catchiest (whilst not sickness inducing) albums I've heard in a while.

Totally agree with your comment about target audiences though - This appeals to me because I just have a soft spot for pop-punk/post-hardcore most people would deem shitty.

Thanks iGuter. I guess the only thing we can hope for is that the band take the positives from both of their albums & combine them better next time around.

Well said Arucard... I'd agree on points 1 & 2, but not #3 because I think there is much more catchy stuff around than this. I only found about half this album genuinely catchy.

But yeah, I just can't see this album in its entirety appealing to many people at all.

Yeah, I think my tastes are pretty strange when it comes to pop-punk and post-hardcore, but this album really does appeal to me. To be honest you review a lot of albums I like.

Have you heard any 'My Ticket Home?' Their EP is actually really good, I think you'd like it.

I'll take that as a compliment Arucard... Especially as most around here say the exact opposite. LOL.

Never heard of My Ticket Home at all. They're on THE list!
