Is this album rated so much lower than the others because of how starkly Envy has changed, or because you guys genuinely don't like it? I have to say this is my favorite release from Envy. It possesses such a unique and powerful sound.

idk what youre listening to but they haven't changed "starkly" or really at all. whatever change they went through has already happened now they're just doling out routine post rock screamo without even an interesting vocalist to distract from the monotony
